This is becoming problematic. School is canceled again today thanks to the new snowfall from last night. It’s supposed to get worse before it gets better, so odds are fairly high that it’ll be canceled tomorrow as well. Now, fun as it is to have a five day weekend followed by a three day weekend followed by a four day weekend, all those classes have to go somewhere. Based on my best guess, that means that next week, assuming there aren’t more cancellations, I’ll have a written exam Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, as well as a practical Thursday. Joy.
Of perhaps equal concern, the first collegiate race is in less than two months, and if the weather continues like this, I won’t actually be able to ride on the road before then. I’m going to have to start doing long sessions on the rollers in hopes of having some kind of handling skills so I’m not That Guy when the racing starts. You all know what I’m talking about.
That’s crazy! I woke up the other morning in Durango and for the first time in my life had to put my vehicle in 4-wheel drive low to get out of my parking spot. Luckily I had that option because I didn’t really feel like shovelling my truck out of 1 ft+ of snow just to move it out of the parking lot we are not supposed to park in (but obviously do) and into the metered parking 50 feet away. Anyways….you know, it’s funny, I’ve always been good at driving in the snow but I have become WAY better at it since I got one of those light pickup trucks that you hear about how bad they are in the snow!

Maybe I should just make my own blog amidst your blog comments. You know, like a parasite. But I guess it would be symbiotic relationship because you get comments and I get readers.

Hahahaha
9th and Main. It’s pretty super sweet. How did Durango treat you? Yesterday some lady ran a red light and then laid on her horn at me, the pedestrian in the crosswalk. It was awesome. Oh how I love Durango…

I’m starting to feel bad for Kevin…
Oh well :)
I went to high school and college there. My first job was a bellman at the Strater Hotel.
Man, no one used to use their horns back in the day. What did you do to the place?!
The more I hear about it , the more I miss it. Enjoy it, and have a Durango Amber at Falconburghs. I think they still have my mug…
