Well, Carson, technically. The Track World Cup is this weekend, and I’m leaving tomorrow morning to watch the best of the best battle it out on the boards. I went a couple years ago and the turnout was somewhat less than those rounds of the World Cup contested on European soil. This year, though… Oh, this year is an Olympic year, and thanks to new rules set in place, the overall winner of each event in the World Cup gets an automatic berth to Beijing. That means that every point counts and a record number of racers have registered for LA.
The racing is going to be fast and furious and last all weekend long. I might post some reports over the next couple nights and will definitely be uploading pictures to my flickr account, either day-to-day or early next week when I get back home.

You lucky bastard…
Pictures. Mandatory. If in doubt that it is interesting, take the picture anyway.

Don’t forget to take pictures from the rear as well as from the front. ;)
Maybe ask someone to ripple their calf muscles for you.
